General Info

CaterCares was created by JLL, a global real estate firm, and ezCater, the nation’s largest Food for Work marketplace.  The business catering industry is over $20B annually in the US.  We joined forces because we believe that if we work together, we can take a giant bite out of hunger in America.

By signing up for CaterCares, you are giving your ezReward points* (Cash back valued at 1-5% of your food spend) to your local Feeding America food bank, and those funds are matched by an additional 1% from ezCater and JLL.

When CaterCares members order meals through CaterCares, they earn rewards points, which are immediately topped off with a match from JLL and ezCater. The rewards points are then donated, as equivalent cash, to local food banks. A $1 donation is equivalent to 11 meals for children in need.
The non-profit beneficiary of CaterCares is Feeding America: the nation’s largest organization dedicated to fighting domestic hunger through a network of food banks. All donations will benefit the local Feeding America member food bank in your market. To identify the local food bank nearest you, visit Feeding America and enter your zip code.

From routine office lunches to offsite client meetings, from 5 to 2,000 people, we have a solution for you. ezCater connects business people with over 80,000 reliable local caterers and restaurants across the U.S. ezCater is the engine that provides the ordering for all CaterCares orders. ezCater is completely free to use and never charges additional fees.

Absolutely. CaterCares never adds any fees beyond those that the caterer requires. You’ll always see the breakdown of the caterer’s charges: food, delivery, tip, tax. Nothing is hidden and there are no markups. You pay the same amount through CaterCares as you would if you called the restaurant directly.
Any kind you would like! We have a wide range of reliable restaurants and caterers. Our only order minimums or requirement are what the caterers specify. If you have a caterer you’d like to see added to our network, email us at support@ezcater.com.


Placing an order is easy! Simply visit www.catercares.com and enter the address where you need food delivered. To get the most accurate search results, enter the date and time of your event. Select the caterer you’d like to order from and build your order. Once you’re done, go to checkout, provide your payment information, submit your order, and relax. ezCater will take care of the rest. You can also place an order on ezCater’s iOS app or by contacting us at 1-800-488-1803 or support@ezcater.com.
Yes. You can place orders days or months in advance. We stay on top of all future orders. And, we only bill your credit card on the event day.
Yes. Your Scheduled Orders page shows your pending orders. Your Receipts page has all past orders. That page also lets you create an Expense Report, by printing your receipts for any date range.
Yes. When you’ve selected an office, orders you’ve placed for them in the past are offered for you to Duplicate. You can create an exact duplicate, or modify the details for the current situation.
Yes. You can make changes directly online or by contacting ezCater at 1-800-488-1803 or support@ezcater.com. Each caterer sets their own cut off time for online modifications. If you can’t make the change online, contact us and we’ll request the change (no guarantee). For most caterers, the cut off time is three hours.
There is no cancellation fee, but the caterer may have to charge for food already prepared. Follow the instructions on your Orders page, or Contact Us for help.
Of course. Simply tell ezCater your needs under “special instructions” in your order. Or, call us at 1-800-488-1803.

My Account

You can always change any of your information in your Profile page.
Very easily. With ezCater, you can’t lose a receipt. We email you a detailed receipt after an order completes, and store your receipts online forever in your Receipts page. You can print any receipts using the “Expense Report” button, too. If you’re a Concur user, you can turn on our integration feature to have receipts automatically sent to Concur.
Just go to your Receipts page, and click the “PDF” link for an order to download the receipt.
You can change your password on your Profile page.
No problem. Click the “Forgot your password?” link that comes up in the error message on the sign-in page.

Pricing & Payment

Never knowingly. Prices on ezCater are identical to the caterer’s normal pricing, unless they and we got out of sync. With tens of thousands of caterers, that can happen. We’ll make it right for you.
ezCater receives commissions from the caterers.
We usually bill your credit card on the day of your event.
Some caterers charge a delivery fee, which is clearly displayed when you place your order.
We recommend it unless the distance is small, or the delivery fee is already large. Drivers rely on tips. Simply enter the tip amount when you finalize payment on an order. Then you’re all set, even if you’re not present when the delivery occurs.
Any time. If you no longer have the email copy, simply go to Receipts.
ezCater accept all major credit cards: American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.
